Overview

KAWA sushi, nestled on Via Fausta in the charming town of Cavallino-Treporti, brings a fresh twist to traditional Japanese dining in Italy. This Japanese restaurant stands out not only for its authentic flavors but also for its innovative dining experience. The concept of ordering via a tablet directly at your table redefines the usual all-you-can-eat format, allowing guests to choose their dishes at their own pace without feeling rushed, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

The culinary highlights at KAWA sushi showcase a rich variety of Japanese classics and creative interpretations. The Sashimi Misto offers a pristine selection of fresh raw fish, masterfully sliced to preserve texture and flavor. Meanwhile, the Croccante Al Pistacchio introduces a unique crunch and nutty aroma, blending traditional and inventive tastes. Tartufo Bianco adds an indulgent touch to the menu, with a delicate earthiness that complements the lighter sushi offerings. The Involtini Primavera rounds out the experience with its fresh, vibrant vegetables wrapped in a crispy exterior—perfect for those seeking lighter bites.

The space itself is well maintained, inviting, and designed to accommodate groups of varying sizes—from families with children to friends seeking a convivial night out. The clean, comfortable setting and the friendly, attentive staff enhance the overall dining experience. Many guests appreciate the all-you-can-eat concept, praising how the system helps minimize food waste by charging for uneaten orders, promoting mindful dining.

KAWA sushi’s approach caters especially well to locals and tourists alike, who value quality, freshness, and an unhurried meal. Its engaging yet efficient ordering system and consistent food excellence have built a loyal following. Whether visiting for lunch or dinner, guests can expect carefully prepared dishes that showcase the finesse of Japanese cuisine, without the overwhelming spectacle of traditional buffets.

While some feedback notes occasional delays in service, the overall consensus reflects a high regard for the freshness and taste of the food, the welcoming atmosphere, and the professionalism of the staff. KAWA sushi is an ideal choice for those seeking a refined Japanese dining experience that balances tradition with modern convenience in the heart of Cavallino-Treporti.

It was a refreshing change from all the traditional restaurants in the area. Thanks to the innovative ordering system and the wide selection of dishes, I really enjoyed the "all you can eat" experience.

We like the concept to order your all you can eat. The ambience is nice and clean. But the waiting time was ridiculous. We already got the first two rounds of food and still no drinks even after 3 times of asking when we will get something to drink we have to wait another 15min. Also when you order your food you wait. We still eat at other restaurants like that with a full house and they delivered even faster the food. But nevertheless we recommend the restaurant because of the quality of the food. We really like the rule, that you have to pay if you don’t eat your ordered food.

we ate lunch today - the all you can eat menu at 17,60 euros pp. It's not a buffet (which we don't like) but you order from a tablet that they leave with you so you have time to scroll/choose and there's absolutely no pressure. We drank a 500ml of prosecco on tap and chose quite a few dishes - mostly small portions - and shared everything. The quality of the food was top notch; so fresh and prepared with such care. The prawn skewers and meat dumplings stood out, as well as all the sushi. The sweet and sour chicken was truly fresh; not that gloopy sugary bright red stuff you see at most restaurants these days. including a bottle of sparkling water, we paid 50 euros and enjoyed it so much. Would definitely recommend it. They offer the same at dinner for just a little more. Great value. PS you are charged for what you don't eat - so come hungry and eat up! (just their way of preventing abuse of their system)

We came for the all-you-can-eat dinner with a group of 11 people, including both adults and kids. There were plenty of cooked options that were perfect for the children—they absolutely loved the food! The restaurant is very clean, and the atmosphere is comfortable. The staff were super friendly and provided excellent service throughout the evening. We had a great experience and will definitely come back again!

Proper sushi in the area. I've been here last year. I remember friendly staffs and nice ambience at the restaurant. They have delicious othrr Asian food options too which I can choose when I miss them. During postpartum recovery, I wanted to eat sushi so bad without going outside home. Thankfully, they do home delivery with time punctuality and same freshness as you eat at the restaurant.

We arrived at around 1pm on a Friday, there were guests but not too full were welcomed by a staff member, and we were led to our chosen table. The staff could speak English and we were explained how the menu works for ala carte and all-you-can eat. We took all-you-can eat option and a tablet for ordering can be used. You can also scan the QR on the table and use your own phone to order. They serve the items quite fast. We had a variety of food. The serving size were just right. The serbice is also pleasant. They are attentive and since we have a smaller table and the plates take up considerable space, when emptied, they take it away to make space. I find it nice that you can ask for the sauces you preferred, like wasabi etc. then people who dont like spicy wont waste it when ordering sushi. The eat-all-you-can does not include cover charge, dessert and drinks. We didnt order alcohol, but we were charged 14eur as alcohol fee but i think thats just mislabelled, i think it is Drinks fee. Over all a very pleasant experience.
